Class 5: March 29 (recording)

Your heart centre is beautiful, intelligent and powerful. In Sanskrit it is called "Anahata", which means infinite, unhurt and boundless. It is the place within us that holds our highest virtues like love, compassion, empathy, joy and forgiveness. Your heart connects the physical and spiritual aspects of who you are, it is a transformer.

Unfortunately, these past two years have shaken our Anahata centre to the very core, individually and as a collective. Let's see some of the signs showing us when our heart centre is out of balance...

The heart chakra directly affects the heart, lungs, chest, arms, and hands. When your heart centre is out of alignment, respiratory ailments, poor circulation, lower immunity levels, high or low blood pressure, and other heart and lung conditions can easily appear.

  • You may tend isolate yourself excessively

  • You feel lonely

  • You hold grudges against people you love

  • You frequently feel jealous

  • You’re overly defensive

  • You have a fear of intimacy

  • You put yourself in the role of the rescuer or victim

  • You find it difficult to trust others

Does it sound familiar?

The good news is that today's class is crafted to bring your heart centre back to its natural state of coherence.

Do you want to see peace in the world? It is really up to each of us to make sure our own heart is balanced and radiant again. This could be the shortest, easiest path to the friendliness we want to see.

Please have your mat, a strap or belt, a chair, a nourishing drink and anything you need to make your practice comfortable. You could also light a candle to intensify your intention.
